Terms of Service

What follows is the fine print.  Our reputation speaks for itself with a 4.9 average rating.  We work hard to make sure you are happy.  Have any questions?  Just ask!  We are here to help!

Processing Your Order

All orders take a minimum of 3 days to a maximum of 7 days if impacted, to ship. If special accommodations are requested, please include this with your order note. We try our best to accommodate requests but ultimately can’t guarantee them. Orders are processed based on the order they are received.

Orders are shipped on designated shipping days (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). We only ship express shipments on wednesday to avoid weekend layovers. 

  1. Orders placed on Tuesday, will be shipped the next available shipping day. 
  2. Shipping upgrades are available on our website
    1. Orders that upgrade their shipping to 2-day or overnight will be processed the following shippable day, if able.


We are a registered USDA nursery with the proper credentials to ship plants into AG sensitive states. This includes: California, Arizona, Texas. Please keep an eye on your shipment, and if any issues arise, contact us as soon as possible.

We ship using USPS Priority, USPS Express, UPS Ground, UPS 2-day air,  and UPS air Saver

Our shipments go out every week, Monday through Wednesday excluding holidays.

    • USPS Priority, USPS Express, UPS Ground, UPS 2-day air,  and UPS air Saver
  • Tuesday 
    • USPS Priority, USPS Express, UPS Ground, UPS 2-day air,  and UPS air Saver
  • Wednesday
    • USPS Express, UPS 2-day air,  and UPS air Saver

We ship to the majority of the US States including: California, Arizona, Texas, and Hawaii. Not all species of plants may be shipped to Hawaii due to state laws.  We unfortunately don't ship to Alaska or the U.S. Territories unless US Mail is delivered there (we can ship to Puerto Rico for example).

Terms for Cancellation and Returns

We allow free “24 hour cancellation” on retail items purchased on our web store, Live Streams are excluded from this free “24 hour cancellation” policy.

 After 24 hours, a 10% non refundable restocking fee will be applied to the cancellation. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled or altered. 

  1. If customer errors were made after the order has shipped, contact us using the “contact us” form. We cannot guarantee changes can be applied based on carrier policy, and are not financially responsible for damages that may occur from this alteration. 

All sales are final once shipped. Plant Madness does not accept returns of any kind. We sell rare plant stock with very limited availability and weekly change our inventory offered, we do not accept changes or cancellations 24 hours after an order is placed. If you place an order and need to make a change please email us within 24 hours of placing the order. If contacted after 24 hours we will do our best to accommodate change requests but can not guarantee a change can be made pending where your order is in the fulfillment process.

Terms for refund

If your plant arrives damaged within 24 hours of delivery, you may request a claim for reimbursement. Please use our Contact Us page to initiate the claim. All claims must include photos, or video to be considered. All claims are handled on a case by case basis, and may take up to 5 days to process after receipt.

We are not responsible for weather based damage or delays that occurred during transit. All plants that leave our location are shipped in healthy condition. It’s the responsibility of the customer to understand that they are ordering a live product, and understand that we have no control over what conditions the plant encounters during transit. 

Claims will be immediately be denied if:

  • The request arrives 6 days after delivery
  • Your forecast weather falls outside 25F - 100F
  • For 25F-45F: 
    • Your order doesn’t have a heat pack & insulation
    • Your order doesn't have 2-day (or faster) shipping
  • For 90-100
    • Your order doesn't have 2-day (or faster) shipping

Our plants are grown in greenhouses and use sterile potting soil and perlite. On occasion Pure perlite, or sphagnum may be used. 

Repotting the plant will result in the immediate disqualification of the claim

Terms and Definitions

Growers Choice  

  • Plant is selected at growers discretion, and individual selection and pictures are unavailable to the buyer. This includes size, and color if applicable.

Policy on plant cuttings

Plant cuttings are unrooted cuts taken from a mother plant; furthermore: They aren’t guaranteed to root, have any specific color, growth pattern or desirable shape. Plant cuttings are exempt from all refund policies, and Plant Madness doesn’t assume any liabilities or issue credit once the Plant Cutting leaves our care. Customers who purchase a “plant cutting” understand the risks involved when purchasing.
