Prosthechea cochleata

Commonly known as the Florida clamshell orchid or cockleshell orchid due to the distinctive shape of its lip, Prosthechea cochleata is native to Florida but also found in southern Mexico, Central America, and throughout the Caribbean. Its flowers have a mild, spicy fragrance and bloom sequentially.
