Monstera sp. "Banta #2"

MONSTERA sp. Banta #2

This is a VERY rare monstera named after the late John Banta. A friend of ours saved this from John's collection after he passed away. It was one of three rescued thus its name. Thank goodness he had the forethought to do this so many collections are lost over the years. Sadly, the particular details of this monstera died with John. We are still trying to key this out if anyone has any information or clues please let us know.

This was one of 3 John brought back from the jungles years ago and still hasn't identified/classified. An unusual monstera with interesting fenestration patterns. A suitable species for anyone who enjoys monsteras.
